Arp Schnitger Organ of St. Ludgeri Norden Released

I am thrilled to announce the release of one of the most anticipated sample sets to date: Arp Schnitger Norden.

Captured with exceptional precision using four stereo channels, this virtual instrument faithfully reproduces the historic pipe organ of St. Ludgeri Church in Norden, Germany — one of the largest and most celebrated Baroque organs in Europe.

With 46 stops and 7 ranks, authentic acoustic modeling, and a meticulously crafted interface, Arp Schnitger Norden is more than a sample set — it’s a time machine to Northern Germany’s golden age of organ building.

Key features:

  • Eight channels (4 stereo channels) of chromatically sampled stop-by-stop pipes
  • Recorded tremulants for all Rückpositiv and Oberpositiv stops
  • Adjustable volume levels for each division and perspective
  • Adjustable volume levels for ambient, blower, key action and stop action noises
  • 4 fixed (Optimum, Nave, Choir, Console) and 4 custom volume presets
  • Brustpositiv configurable as 4th manual
  • Photorealistic console screen (landscape)
  • Photorealistic single jamb (landscape)
  • Photorealistic dual jambs (landscape and portrait)
  • Simple screen (landscape and portrait)
  • Settings screen (landscape)
  • Info screen (landscape and portrait)

Designed with particular attention to historic accuracy and musical expression, Arp Schnitger Norden is ideal for performing the works of Buxtehude, Lübeck, and other masters of the North German Baroque tradition.
